All Shiny, All Spiffy, We'll be there in a Jiffy!

The Teapot #66

This is my story!

1. I got this precious little silver teapot ornament in a package from a group of SCS friends. (Thanks again, you guys!) We all know what its like to be so obbessed with card making that you begin to be inspired by everyday surroundings in the world around you. Do you ever find yourself thinking ooh, that's cool! I can make A CARD that looks like that! As a result of recent events in Colorado I found myself inspired by a shiny flying thing as it was pursued by local professionals and as well, by Jiffy Pop!

2. So, when Mrs. Claus called and mentioned the problem Santa is having this year, it was perfect timing! Mr. and Mrs. Claus are so worried! What they have been dreading for many years has finally come true! The technology has changed more and more each year and this year Santa's test run failed due to the controls in his sleigh no longer being compatible with flight thingys! (Hey, I am no rocket scientist!) And you thought the reindeer steered the sleigh didn't you. So did I!

3. Mrs. Clause offered all the tea and Christmas treats (frosted sugar cookies, fudge, divinity, and peanut brittle) in exchange for getting Santa off the ground this year. And we don't even have to sleep in the barn with the reindeer! It seems there's room to put us up in the workshop! We just have to make sure we don't squish any elves cuz they are in big demand this time of year! We really don't want to see the national headlines read something like this: Sadly Christmas has been cancelled due to the unfortunate demise of Santa's entire work crew at the North Pole. 42,000 Tea Partiers from all across the world are being detained for questioning! That would not be good press for us!

It's a teapot ! It's no hoax, folks!
I told ya I was inspired by the Balloon Boy's air-craft!!
The first package of Jiffy Pop I popped, I opened it wrong and the popcorn popped all over the kitchen. I musta broke a seal or something. Okay, back to the challenge...

4. We're off to the North Pole girlies! Here is the plan, Jan! (Jan is a little female reindeer currently in training and hoping to have her shot this year in a male reindeer dominated field.) Bring anything that can fly and pull Santa along. Souped up hot air balloons (yes, shiny silver ones are fine!) airplanes, helicopters, Dumbo, pigs that fly, heavy duty birdies, bionic penquins, and last but not least, maybe even a new crew of reindeer with a sleigh equipped with the latest technology! What? Yes, you can name the new reindeer with cool, fun, new reindeer names!

I had to make a card not just a goofy Jiffy Pop Teapot!
Not my most favorite card but hey, whatcha gonna do with a big ole pile of tin foil?

5. Every Tuesday I am posting a picture of a teapot and then making a card inspired by that teapot. There are no rules, no requirements, just take a look at the teapot and let yourself be inspired!

6. When your card is complete, show us a picture by posting a link to it in the comment section here. If you are uploading it to your SCS gallery, post the link here and use MMTPT66 in keywords so we can easily view everyone's card .

Blacken White's Gettin' Color Tonight!

The Teapot #65

This is my story!

1. I'm back just in time for the big shindig tonight. Our first night time teaparty. We've been invited to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Blacken White for a big Halloween Teaparty! But don't think we don't have a job to do because as you know there is always a catch when we've been offered free tea and sweet treats.

The Card #65

2. We have been hired by Blanca, Blanca White! She is at her wits end and this is a do or die attempt to save her marriage! She suspected that her husband, Blacken, married her just because of her first name. After years and years of marriage she has become painfully aware that Blacken's obsession with black and white will only be broken by desperate measures! His parents loved the idea of naming their son Blacken. Its a strong, powerful name and it goes so well with white! Little did they know it would be the cause of a lifetime of obsession for their son!

3. They live on Zebra street in Black Hawk, Colorado in a black and white house, have two dalmations, a white car for her, a black truck for him, a closet full of black and white pin-striped suits, stark white dress shirts, little black dresses, ancient black and white tv's, black and white checkered floors, and black sofas with white throw pillows. Even their Halloween candy is black licorice and white divinity.

4. Blanca loves Halloween, its the one time of year that she can decorate with a color other than black and white. Blacken allows her to place two orange pumpkins on the front porch every Halloween! She suspects if Blacken saw their home in living color, he may change his ways. Here's the plan Fran (Fran is Blanco's sister-in-law) Our mission is to hit Blacken hard, with color! Color, color, color! Bring your best decorating colors, let's hit this black and white house big time with spashes of color. Vases with flowers, colorful sofas, wallpaper, rugs, pillows....and don't forget the closets, colorful little dresses, shirts, hats, shoes. We might as well hit the outside too, colorful birdies, blooming flowers, maybe a colorful gingerbread wall or two! Stay away from the black and white! But since there are no rules to this challenge, if you do bring some black and white, you just have to come in the back door and hide if you see Blanca!! Have fun with color!

5. Every Tuesday I am posting a picture of a teapot and then making a card inspired by that teapot. There are no rules, no requirements, just take a look at the teapot and let yourself be inspired!

6. When your card is complete, show us a picture by posting a link to it in the comment section here. If you are uploading it to your SCS gallery, post the link here and use MMTPT65 in keywords so we can easily view everyone's card .

A Wild, Wild,West Kind of Birthday!

This is my Story:

1. Last Monday night on my birthday I had the surprise of my life! I actually thought it was a little odd that my friend Traci (Tracim) was pretty insistant on taking me out for dinner on my birthday. We talked about doing lunch but decided that it would be better to have more time at night. In hind sight, had we done lunch, I would not have been able to go back to work! No way! My friends Carn and Pam also came along.

2. When I got there, Traci had a huge gift bag! Huge I tell ya. Before we ordered our dinner I opened my birthday presents including awesome polka dotted treasures from Carn and Pam and a great little birthday package from Traci! In that big ole gift bag, was an amazing Wild Wild West themed gift box that Pat Smethers made for me! Check out the pictures below! I pretty much was blown away by the sheer beauty of it! Most of you probably know how badly I have wanted this stamp set. Let's face it, I have not been real secretive as to what I am willing to do to get my hands on Wild Wild West! Snort! When I opened it up and peeked inside, I saw about 42,000 cards in the box and at that point I got pretty emotional knowing it was filled with cards from my SCS friends.

3. Evidently Traci's mission was to protect the box, pull off this birthday bash and get pictures!I must say, she was determined to succeed! When I started to get pretty choked up she just panicked knowing I would not want a picture taken of me in such an emotional state. She just started digging through the box to get to what was on the bottom and pulled out a brand new SU Wild Wild West stamp set out from under all of the cards. She said, here, here you go, look at this! Pam and Carn were cracking up and snapping pictures! At one point, Pam said, oh my goodness, this set is not even mounted, its brand new! I honestly totally lost it! I mean, TOTALLY LOST IT!

4. It seems that Pat Smethers and Shirley Quarry had been cooking up a little surprise. Believe me, those two are always cooking up something! They have been trying to purchase this set for me on E-Bay and back in July they were successful! Winning a bid on E-Bay is quite an accomplishment in itself and I honestly cringe to think how much money they spend on it! I felt a little better about that after I found out that about 40 of my SCS friends chipped in on the purchase of it. I was so touched that my friends would do this for me! I honestly still can't believe how wonderful and generous everyone was to do this!

5. Poor Traci! She was a little stressed having been put in charge of protecting this most valuable and cherished birthday present. I later told her that had I know it was in her house, I would have stolen it way before my birthday! Bwahaha! I called Pat from the restaurant and honestly I can't even remember our conversation except I remember crying and laughing! Pat was on pins and needles waiting to hear about my birthday surprise. When I got in my car to go home my plan was to call Shirley (wannabcre8tive) but I realized I did not have her cell phone number as she and her husband were traveling and were not home. I knew Pat would have it so I called her back.

6. When I dialed Pat, all of the sudden I realized that I had been driving around and around the parking lot, just going around and around in circles! When Pat answered the phone, I said, Pat, help me! I can't get out of this parking lot! She snorted! OMG! My mind was mush, all I could think of was what was inside my big ole gift box! We laughed and laughed and then she gave me Shirley's phone number and I called Shirley. Shirley and I did some more laughing and crying! By the time I got home I was pretty much totally emotionally spent!

6. I was too tired (no kidding!) to open all of the cards! There were 41 of them. So, I went to bed but I couldn't sleep so at about 1:30 am, I got up and opened them all up! This is what I found and these are the wonderful SCS friends that sent cards. At the bottom of my post I have listed all of those that made this birthday wish come true for me! I am so touched by all of you! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

1. Cortina (Cathleen) - When I saw this card in the SCS gallery, I secretly hoped that Cathleen would send it to me! And lookey here! Its mine! Cathleen, thank you so much for making it mine! You know I love it! How could I not? Thank you for making my birthday so special! WWWhoo hoo!

The reason is that I am pretty touched at this whole thing so I will think about pay backs later! Giggle!! And yes, I know what they are talking about! Thank you Bubba! WWWhoo hoo!

3. Wannabcre8tive (Shirley) - Talkin' about little stinkers! Shirley, you and Pat are little stinkers! Little stinkers for keeping such a huge secret from me since July. She is so fun, so generous, so thoughtful. Of course she would be involved in this! Thank you Dawn for making my birthday so fun and for making Tuesdays a day to look forward to! WWWhoo hoo!

1. Kokirose (Pat) - This card absolutely cracks me up. The sentiment says, you're only young once. You can be immature for a lifetime! Hmm......I think that is what I am, immature! Giggle! It's big and beautiful! Thank you so much! Thank you for ALL you did! WWWhoo hoo!

2. Csmuto (Carla) - After admiring Carla's wonderful cards in the SCS galleries over and over, I finally got to know her a little better after she started coming to our tea parties! These are worth getting old!

This is my story!

1. Isn't this just the coolest thing? Honestly, it could not be any more perfect for me or for my glob! I loaded it up in my side-bar too, it's just too funny not to! I got it from Tosh (stamps4funinCA) for my birthday! Surely, she had this specially made just for me! Giggle!

2. This is sorta fun! I have not made a card since September 16th and it's fun to have cards to post on my glob. Wonderful, amazing, beautiful cards! Tommorrow I will have a Wild Wild West story! Whoot! Whoot! Whoot!

3. On to my birthday cards! Those darn birthdays, they just keeping coming and coming. But at least card making buddies make your birthday something to look forward to instead of something to dread. I always look forward to my birthday and the wonderful cards I get! Like these.........

1. K. Wingert (Kathy) The Photographer's sister. Isn't this the most beautiful card? Kathy and her husband really spoiled me this year. Kathy's husband made me the most beautiful hand-made wooden jewelry box! Boy, he is good!

2. Sharondh (Sharon) It's funny these two cards ended up in the same picture because Sharon's husband makes beautiful things out of wood too and Sharon sent me a wooden writing pen that her hubby made! OMG! It's so beautifully done! Isn't her card cute?

3. Apandi (Marilynn) Marilynn is my little buddy from up the road in Lakewood. We need to get together and meet in person! She is only 50 miles away, what is the matter with us Marilynn, we have to hook up girlfriend!! Awesome little birthday card!

1. Stamps4funinCA (Tosh) Tosh sent me this card along with my cute little Snort Sign as well has a great black and white polka dotted shopping bag! Tosh is the Head Cheerleader of the CCEE group. I am the First Captain. I keep telling her that the First Captain out ranks the Head Cheerleader. She just blows me off most of the time!

2. JoJot (Joanne) I have had the pleasure of meeting Joanne in person and I must say she is as genuine and wonderful in person as she is on-line. Not to mention generous, she sent me an incredible birthday care package. Her cards rock, as you can see here!

3. Jdmommy (Anne) I just gotta get that little candle punch! That's the dangerous thing about getting awesome cards like Anne's. Makes you wanna buy new stuff! Yikes! Such a bright and cheerful birthday card!

1. Foxy67 (Pat) My birthday card from the Photographer's other sister. My neice, a cousin, and two of my sister-in-laws are all stampers! How fun is that?

2. S. Douglas (Shari) My birthday card from my neice. She made this card at one of Carn's work shops. She says she hates ribbon and bows, but you can't tell by looking at that bow!

3. LMcAree (Lori) I love that I got a birthday card from Lori. She was recently the featured stamper at SCS. Take one look at this card and you know why!

1. Cammie (Carolyn) A little teapot card from my little CCEE buddy Cammie. The CCEE girls had a teapot birthday challenge for me on my birthday and this is what Cammie made! Precious to be sure!

3. LilLuvsstampin (Bertie) Yes, Bertie sent me a card! Bertie is Charlene's altered ego. Bertie hangs out with Gertie (my altered ego) and the two of them really get wild! Yikes! Charlene and Bertie also sent me an amazing, wonderful black and white polka dotted birthday care package!!

1. Pidgesmom (Lorraine) This is my birthday card from one of my bestest Teapot buddies. Did I tell you that Lorraine sent me pink and white polka dotted socks? Snort! Oh, and pencils. Like I said, I will have to tell you about that story later!

2. J. Beghtol (Judy) Judy is a friend of mine that lives here in town. She goes to stamp class. She told me that Hallmark has the most wonderful black and white polka dotted stuff like the awesome new wallet she got me. I said, what are you doing in a Hallmark store? She said, you know me, I collect stamping supplies and buy my cards at Hallmark? She didn't buy this cute card!!

3. Bat Girl (Melanie) Snort! This is so cute! When I was going through the envelopes recording everyone's return addresses, I found Melanie's sentiment inside her envelope. It had fallen off. It says, This Too Shall Pass! Snort! I glued it back on but the picture had been taken! Melanie is such a kick! Giggle!

1. Mitchygitchygoomy (Michelle) Who doesn't love Michelle's cards and that name!! I do! Who'd a thunk she would send me this adorable little card along with another envelope labled *Cindy's Build-Your-Own-Chicken-Kit!* Everything I need to make another card just like hers! Woot!

3. DawnL (Dawn) The Llama Mama! A fellow CCEEer that one day sent me a card with a dead frog on it! Yup, true story! From dead frogs to udderly polka dotted birthday teapot cows! Her birthday is the end of this month. (Shhh.....28th!) Hmmm...what shall I send her?

A very special teapot and more wonderful cards!

This is my story!

1. A week ago yesterday I came home from work and had a large box waiting for me! Upon opening it, I found this wonderful little teapot safely tucked away in a smaller box. There was a stack of cards and the cutest little chrome teapot ornament also included!

2. Now, I should tell you why opening this box and seeing this little teapot was so exciting for me. I am sure you are not surprised that a teapot like this would catch my eye due to the fact that its black with white polka dots! Go figure!

3. Sometime back I purchased a small teapot similar to this. I got it for really cheap because the lid was messed up. It did not sit right on the teapot! When I featured it on my blog in my Teapot Tuesday Challenge, I knew my sister in law would fall in love with it because she is ga-ga over roosters. I loved that little teapot but I knew she would love it more so I explained about the lid and mailed it to her.

4. Now the good part! I got a bigger one in the mail last week! Whoo Hoo!! I must be living right, what are the odds that PeggySue (Jeanne) would purchase a replacement teapot for me, only bigger with a perfect lid! Yikes, sorry Pat! OMG! I am so spoiled! I am ticked to have this teapot back in my collection! Thank you PeggySue and thank you to all of the wonderful stampers that contributed in the purchase of this little teapot for me. Some of them are listed below with their wonderful cards and PeggySue said others sent their cards to me separately. I am not sure who all contributed but I appreciate each and every one that did!

1. Itzann (Ann) This is the first card I have received that has embroidary on it! It is the most precious thing and a one of a kind for sure! It is perfectly sewn!! Absolutely precious!

2. NWilliams6 (Nancy) I love the little ladybugs on this card. It reminds me of Lady Loulabella Rockafella! Hee! A wonderful card with such kind words written inside!

3. Stampingwriter (Sandy) Now could Sandy have made me a more perfect card? I mean, look at the polka dots and the teapots! And the sentiment is so so true!

1. Ashjoy (Joyce) Such yummy strawberries. I love that Joyce stamped on the ribbon. Joyce is a fellow dork and tea potter! It doesn't get any better than that!

2. Peggysue (Jeanne) I have a special place for Peggysue in my heart. She is the only one that believed me when I said I saw a penquin in the forest up in Steamboat, Colorado! As a matter of fact, that little penguin fished a teapot out of his fishing hole just for me! Giggle!

3. Stamp Muse (Emily) I don't think I have seen a cuter Minnie Mouse card. She is precious in her polka dots. Oh yeah, and there are very subtle polka dots on the inside too!

1. Maureen Vollaro (Maureen) The cutest little flower in an envelope on a card! Maureen is an avid Tea Potter and brightens everyone's Tuesdays, including mine!

2. RJP111 (Robin) I love this little stack of tea cups and I love seeing Robin on Tuesdays. As well as her wonderful cards!

3. Schirmcat (Kelly) Kelly makes up words. Words that become SCS lingo even if they don't make sense! Words like snugs, sniggles, snuggles, snorts, chorts, you know, stuff like that! I love this card!

1. Lilluvsstampin (Charlene) Charlene is a rowdy Tea Potter. She is always getting in trouble and as fun as it is to sit by her at the tea parties, it can be really messy. She slings stuff and gets stuff slung back! But look how she can color an image!

Thank you all so much! I love my new teapot!

I am excited to show you my birthday cards tommorrow!

Good Morning!

I feel badly that I didn't post something earlier about my taking some time away from my blog, Teapot Tuesday, Splitcoast and Embellish-it On-line. I had posted a message in the Teapot Tuesday thread at Splitcoast and probably should have posted something here too.

Recently I've received messages from concerned fellow stampers. Thank you for worrying about me. I am taking some time away as I deal with some real life issues right now. This being done in order to relieve additional stress from stamping commitments. I don't think I have made a card since mid September which as some of you have said, is very strange. I agree that it would be alarming to those who visit my blog daily, wondering where I am. I apologize for not letting you know earlier that I'm just pulling back temporarily.

I have received some amazing cards in the mail over the last two weeks and I will share those here in the future! Thank you so much for that and thank you for being concerned and thinking of me. It gives me big, warm fuzzies and that feels good in more ways than one! It's gettin' a little nippy in Colorado!! (Reminds me of Jim Carey's line in Dumb and Dumber!)

Have a great weekend!

Dude, You Stink!

This is my story:

1. This is the card I made for today's sketch challenge. I admit it, the sketch is a little off in the placement of the panels but I got all messed up trying to line up the Sk8er dawg's bottom to his top!

2. America's Canine travel from near and far to take skateboard lessons from Sk8er Dawg, the world renound 7 time World Champion, 8 time X-Games Champion.

3. Dude, don't be so down on yourself. Just cuz you are taking lessons from Sk8er Dog doesn't mean you are gonna be as good as him.....or as me, for that matter!

4. Dude, don't be so stiff. Just go with the flow. Let the skateboard flow free!

5. Dude, don't embarrass me! Your bottom lip is beginning to quiver, definately not cool!

6. Dude, its okay. I'm sorry, I was a little tough on you. I saw a bowling alley on the way to the Skate Park, would you like to go bowling?

When the going gets tough, the tough go bowling!

This is a sneak peak of a stamp set from a new company called Totally Stampalicious! My little buddy, Joycelyn (stamps'ncoffee) and a friend of hers (Rebeccah Kuhne) started this new company. Its available right now! I think Joycelyn and Rebeccah did a wonderful job and I wish them much success with their new endeavor.

A Tisket, A Tasket, There's a Problem with Our Basket!

The Teapot #64

This is my story!

1. I honestly don't know how this deal is gonna turn out guys! We have been invited to Pelahatchi, Mississippi. One of the reasons we are going back to Mississippi again is cuz I really love typing Mississippi! Its fun! Mississippi! I can do it really fast! Oops...okay back to the story!

2. Anyway, we are invited to a Pic-a-nic at Jellystone Park! Hey, Boo, Boo! Why am I concerned about how this deal is gonna turn out? It seems after rescuing Lou-la-Bella Rock-a-Fella from the Bug Thug last week, we have become celebrities! The residents of Jellystone Park can't wait until we get there! That is where Barney comes into play. A-Tisket, A-Tasket, there's a problem with our basket! He refuses to get out of our basket! Somethin' about getting autographs and his belief that the only way we will notice him is when we try to get to the food! He knows food is important at our teaparties! I think that was reported on National news one week!

The Card #64

3. So here's the Plan, Stan! (Stan is the Park Ranger!) I am thinking we have three options:

Plan A ~ Barney might be young, a baby really! But he is still a BEAR! Duh! And he is smarter than the average bear! It's not gonna be that easy to get to the food! Let's bring more pic-a-nic baskets, checkered table cloths, watermelon, home-made honey (for the bears), ham sandwiches, apple pie, chips and of course, flavored teas! You know, Pic-a-nic food! If Barney's really hungry, his appetite might get the best of him and he will move on to bigger and better baskets!

Plan B ~ Barney might not be hungry! But he just might be a big chicken! Bawwkk! Bawwkk! Let's bring some bigger, badder bears! Grown-ups! Grizzly type bears! If we can control the bigger badder bears maybe we can skeer Barney outa the Basket!

Plan C ~ Barney and the Big Bears might make friends, eat all our food, drink all our tea! Well, we'll have no choice but to find another pic-a-nic spot. Let's bring our own pine trees, lake fronts, log cabins, wildflowers, campfires, pic-a-nic tables, pesky squirrels, you get the picture! Whose idea was it to come to Pelahatchi, Mississippi anyway?

4. Like I say, I really don't know how this deal is gonna turn out! If you have to go through the entire alphabet all the way to Plan Z, no worries. just make a card inspired by this teapot. I won't even make you come in the back door, cuz there's not one! No rules at our teaparties! Snort!

A-tisket, A-tasket,
Barney's in our basket.

We brought a basket filled with food,
But on the way we dropped it.

A big ole Grizzly picked it up, And put it in his pocket.

5. Every Tuesday I am posting a picture of a teapot and then making a card inspired by that teapot. There are no rules, no requirements, just take a look at the teapot and let yourself be inspired!

6. When your card is complete, show us a picture by posting a link to it in the comment section here. If you are uploading it to your SCS gallery, post the link here and use MMTPT64 in keywords so we can easily view everyone's card .

Cops Monkey

This is my story!

1. This is my card for this week's CCEE challege. This week we are doing our CNFS (catchy name featured stamper) challenge. Its where one of us choses someone with a catchy screen-name and make cards to honor their fun name as well as mail them our cards. Frances (Stampowl) chose Cops Monkey! Hee! What a catchy name!

2. Attention all units in the vicinity of Banana Boulevard and Jungle Ave. Yep, the same location as last week. Charlie's monkey is at it again! He's in Charlie's squad car and headed for Banana Boulvard and Jungle Ave. You know the drill, pick up a banana or two, get Charlie's squad car back and bring him in.

3. Charlie, if you are listening, report to the station. The Chief of Police is waiting for you. He was last heard saying, "We have got to the that Cops Monkey in control!"

Be sure to check out the other girl's cards on our blog and join us in our challenge. Make a card with a monkey on it! Hee!

Rin, Tin, Tim Funn!

This is my story!

1. It's Sunday and another Featured Stamper Challege at SCS. The stamper being featured is Shannon (Steubner)! Check out her blog too! She rocks! This is the card that I cased.

2. Meet Rin Tin Tim Funn! He is the lucky Desiger chosen by Daven to host Splitcoast Stamper's exciting new feature, Project Runway, Stampers Version #7. He finally found his niche after several failed careers including guard doggin', cat chasin', steak stealin', and cattle round-upin'!!

3. Don't let his somewhat gruff appearance fool you! He is really rather soft. A fluffy sorta feathery kinda fellow! And he knows his stuff! Why look at the wonderful ensemble he put together at the drop of a hat.

4. He is planning a shopping spree at Mood to celebrate his new career! Attention Stampers! Shop! Shop! Shop!

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

This is a sneak peak of a stamp set from a new company called Totally Stampalicious! My little buddy, Joycelyn (stamps'ncoffee) and a friend of hers (Rebeccah Kuhne) started this new company. Joycelyn asked me if I would make a couple of cards for her to give you all a sneak peak of some of their new sets.

This fun new stamp will be released on the 15th of this month on their new website. You can check out a sneak peak of additional stamps sets being released that same day on the new Totally Stampalicious blog. I think Joycelyn and Rebeccah did a wonderful job and I wish them much success with her new endeavor.

Eeeeek! Eeeeek! Eeeeek!

This is my story.

1. This is my card for today's SCS Inspiration Challenge. We were to be inspired by a children's clothing website which also features some fun Halloween items. I was inspired by this plain and simple black witches hat. Well, by the time I got done with that plain and simple witches hat, once again I had totally over embellished it! But hey, its what I do! Eeeek!

2. I suppose being on the Embellish-it On-line Design Team has something to do with my over embellishing! Yeah, I will blame it on them! Eeeek!

3. I love this fun Halloween paper by Cosmo Cricket. It has some really fun patterns and some awesome black and white polka dotted paper in the set! Do you know how hard it was for me to glue the haunted houses over a big sheet of the black and white polka dotted paper? I was almost hyper-ventilating but I liked the polka dotted border I got!! Eeeek!

4. I pretty much bought this Martha Stewart Halloween set of Halloween stamps last year just to get this one stamp. Eeeeek!!

Supplies to make this card available at Embellish-it On-line. Beware though, you may soon to be over embellishing if you visit there! Eeeeek!

Eat More Cake! Just do it!

This is my story!

2. This fun new stamp will be released on the 15th of this month on their new website. You can check out a sneak peak of additional stamps sets being released that same day on the new Totally Stampalicious blog. I think Joycelyn and Rebeccah did a wonderful job and I wish them much success with her new endeavor. I can't wait to ink up another little doggie set she sent me! Snort!

3. Isn't this a fun image! I am gonna give this card to my best friend Paula whose birthday is in October. Her birthday and my birthday are a day apart and every year we celebrate by going to dinner and a movie. This year we are celebrating last year as its been a whole year since our birthday's and we've not been able to get together! Yikes!

4. I have to say this paper from American Crafts is perfect with this image! Its such fun paper. I made a Phyllis Diller card with it in my Dirty Dozen gallery. I will have to show it to you one day. It's available at Embellish-it On-line! It's in their Craft Fair line and its double sided designer paper. There is nothing cooler than double sided paper because you have one sheet of paper and two options of what to use. I don't know about you but I get a little stressed when I am putting glue all over the backside of it and its another wonderfully cool design! I can't help but think I am wasting it! Snort! I guess the good thing about that is when its 12X12 sheets, you always have more for the next card!

5. Don't you just hate it when the Photographer cannot get a good shot showing the dimension of a card. I love the way this card turned out but the photograph doesn't show the part I like. So I asked the Photographer to take a shot of it laying down so you could get a better look. Good thing I don't have to mail this one! Hee!

Saving Ladybug Lou-la-Bella Rock-a-fella!

The Teapot #63

Ladybug, Ladybug, Ladybug Lou-la-Bella,
She's rich and she's powerful, an original Rock-a-Fella!

She's been taken, been snatched, Oh, poor Lou-la-Bella!
By a thug, a big bug, he's ugly and yella!

Her mom is so worried, will he just try to sella?
She's written a note, just to tell Lou-la-Bella...

Don't worry, sweat pea, I'll have a big tea!
Invite lotsa friends, save the day, you will see!

Attention All Ladybugs! You're Invited to Tea!
Your trip will be free! A reward you could see!

We'll have biscuits and triscuits, cookies and cakes!
Homemade honey and candy, as much as it takes!

And when you're all full, so happy and fat,
We'll save Lou-la-Bella, squish that thug, Ooh that RAT!

This is my story!

1. Bring your ladybugs girls! We're headed to a Country Estate in New York to save Ladybug Lou-la-Bella from the clutches of a bug thug! We've been given a mission and should we decide to accept it (after tea and treats!) the more ladybugs that show up the better chance we have to over power this Bug Thug! Ladybug Lou-la-Bella Rock-a-Fella has boo-koo muhla and just might reward us generously! Be brave, but be bad, and believe me be beautiful, cuz this ole Bug Thug just might be a ladybugizer!

2. Are you wondering why we aren't saving Ladybug Lou-la-Bella first? Well, this is a tea-party! Besides, the teapotters work better energized before a big job!

3. Every Tuesday I am posting a picture of a teapot and then making a card inspired by that teapot. There are no rules, no requirements, just take a look at the teapot and let yourself be inspired!

4. When your card is complete, show us a picture by posting a link to it in the comment section here. If you are uploading it to your SCS gallery, post the link here and use MMTPT63 in keywords so we can easily view everyone's card
